Classes

With lesson plans based on the internationally-recognized Swim Schools International (SSI) format, our 30-minute swim classes are designed to cater to students of all ages and swimming abilities. Our professional staff always promotes a safety-first learning environment,  where students can feel comfortable and confident developing their skills in the water.  From beginner lessons for students of all ages to advanced lessons for competitive swimmers, our comprehensive swim program has something to offer anyone interested in advancing their in-water skills.


Classes are offered Monday to Friday, 10am - 7pm in 30-minute increments. Enrollment space is limited and availability changes daily. To book your lessons, please call us at (916) 929-8188 or email us at swim@dolphinscuba.com.

Aquababy

6 Months - 2 Years Old


These classes focus on in-water safety, water acclimation, breath control, and gentle movements. We believe in building water confidence from an early age and strive to create a positive and enjoyable experience for both babies and parents. *This class requires at least one parent in the water.

Aquatike I, II, and III

3 - 5 Years Old


Designed specifically to accommodate the language and motor skills of 3 to 5 year old students, these classes focus on learning basic core body position, gross and fine motor skills, and breathing techniques for young beginning swimmers.

Beginner I, II, and III

6 - 15 Years Old


For school-aged students with no previous swim experience, our Beginner series is a perfect fit. Upon completion, students will be able to demonstrate the fundamental body position, motor skills, and breathing techniques of a confident swimmer.

Intermediate I & II

6 - 15 Years Old


After having developed the fundamentals in our Beginner series, students looking to advance into additional strokes will learn breaststroke techniques in the Intermediate series.

Advanced I & II

6 - 15 Years Old


The Advanced series introduces the butterfly stroke to students who have completed the Intermediate series curriculum.

Competitive Swim

6 - 18 Years Old


The Competitive Swim curriculum is designed for students who have a working knowledge of all four swim strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly) who wish to tune their technique and prepare to join a competitive swim club.

Adult

16+ Years Old


At Dolphin we believe it's never too late to learn to swim! Adult lessons start with a focus on the fundamentals of water acclimation, breath control, body position, and in-water safety, then move to a focus on refined stroke technique and increased stamina.
