The Explorers program was designed specifically to welcome children into the SCUBA community and keep them active in diving. Whether Scuba, Freediving, or yes, even as a Mermaid! These are all skills they will remeber and value for the rest of their lives!  During the different courses, explorer students will gain the knowledge and in-water experiences required to be a safe Scuba Diver, all while encouraging them to have as much fun as possible in a safe environment.

As a POOL ONLY Program, the SSI Explorer courses offer all of the training and education of an open water diver. Learning to Scuba Dive in the Explorer courses is the foundation on which children build self confidence, disapline and self esteem.

Specialty Classes: Boat Diving, Perfect Buoyancy, Search and Recovery, Underwater Navigation, Night and Limited Visability.
